Press release from the issuing company
The scholarship was established to honour the late Warren Wilkins, a visionary leader in the Canadian printing industry who worked diligently to foster and support new talent for the industry. This prestigious scholarship was developed to provide special recognition to a particularly deserving student starting their post-secondary studies toward a career in the graphic communications industry.
“We’re excited to announce that Cameron Mady, a first year Ryerson University student, has been selected to receive the $5,000 scholarship for the 2019/2020 academic year” said Jeff Ekstein, Chair of Canadian Print Scholarships.
“Cameron is a great example of a young person whose interest was piqued at an early age and who has pursued the path to the Graphic Communications Management program” mentioned Tannisha Lambert, Program Manager.
“I love every aspect of the industry and am truly fascinated by the entire process, from the conception of design to receiving the finished product” added Mady.
The mission of the Canadian Printing Industries Scholarship Trust Fund is to attract the brightest and best students available to the graphic communications industry by providing financial assistance to enroll and continue in a post-secondary management or technical program at an approved institution.
