New iJetColorNXT high-speed envelope solution is RedHot Technology

New version of the iJetColorPro designed for high-volume print, mail, and packaging and lower cost iJetColor envelope press will debut at Print ’18 in Chicago this week.

St. Paul, Minn. – Printware, a leading supplier of prepress and digital solutions to the print industry, will introduce the iJetColorNXT and offer significant upgrades and improvements to the best-selling iJetColor envelope press and iJetColorPro Light Industrial Inkjet Press for commercial print, mail, and packaging providers during Print ’18, held at the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois September 30-October 2 in Booth 2000.

The iJetColor family is comprised of three Memjet® based inkjet presses that can print full-color filled or unfilled envelopes of various sizes and shapes and a wide variety of packaging media for volumes targeted at 1,750 to 10,000+ variable images per hour.

The iJetColorNXT is the fastest inkjet envelope press in the benchtop category and will be shown with the next generation of iJetColorPro print systems that use a highly reliable vacuum conveyor system to deliver products for personalization, utilizing the industry-leading Memjet single-page wide head that delivers 6 ips and 12 ips full-color imaging. A more flexible design in these new products provide rugged and reliable feeding with capabilities from 4” to 14” widths to 17” length media with an 8.7” maximum imaging width and maximum product thickness of up to 1/2” to 1”. The iJetColor family adds three significant improvements to the inkjet marketplace:

1. iJetColorNXT: A more flexible, straight paper path designed for high speed (6,000+/hr) imaging for print and addressing at a system price point under $30k.

2. iJetColorPro: A newly designed high-speed light industrial printer that allows full-bleed imaging with a first ever print gap for high-speed full-color sheet-fed printing for a wide range of print and packaging media with speeds from 7,120 to 10,000+/hour priced under $60k with robust vacuum feeding conveyor and full-bleed capability.

3. iJetColor: New Workflow, Color Management Software, improved media feeding and handling with all products, including the venerable iJetColor envelope press, priced well under $20k.
