Press release from the issuing company
Following its launch at Ipex 2010 which drew considerable attention, as well as the numerous customer success stories in Europe and North America since then, the iEngine 1000 is now doubling its print width with the iEngine 1000L. This new model provides further solutions for the industrial printing of variable data.
IMPIKA will reveal the functionalities and applications of the latest addition to its range of high quality digital print engines, the iEngine 1000L, on its stand at Drupa (Hall 5 - C24) in Dusseldorf, Germany (May 3-16). Show attendees will also have the opportunity to see both models working in different industrial applications at IMPIKA’s partner stands.
Ingenious industrial design combined with unique print capacity
The design of the iEngine 1000L was inspired by the acclaimed one of its predecessor, the iEngine 1000 standard print engine. The iEngine 1000L is compact, robust, easy to install on all types of printing lines and easy to maintain thanks to its integrated automatic print head cleaning station.
The iEngine 1000L stands out among other products because of its flexibility which allows for a wide spectrum of applications. It prints on a width of 220 mm (8.66 inches) at speeds up to 150m/min in color and up to 800 m/min in monochrome. In addition, it is compatible with different types of inks, water based, UV and MICR and features a best in class printing quality with multilevel equivalent to more than 1000dpi resolution.
As an autonomous module, the iEngine 1000L fits perfectly on offset presses for adding variable data (personalization, coding, etc.), offering to customers an hybrid configuration which combines the advantages of both technologies, digital and conventional.
It can also be installed on new equipment, with applications such as envelope customization and inserting, security documents printing... which require a highperformance inkjet solution with a proven track record.
“The iEngine 1000L is also ideal for retrofitting first generation continuous digital presses.” adds Jean Marc Pasturel, IMPIKA Sales and Marketing Manager.
Thanks to its unique performances and flexible configurations combined with one of the lowest print costs on the market, the iEngine 1000L represents a major differentiating business and profit booster for its users.
