Two Sides, the European print and paper advocacy group, is launching Two Sides U.S. and hopes to be up and running by the end of summer. As members of the Going Green-o-sphere know, Two Sides has, among other things,
challenged the notion that electronic billing is “greener” than paper and print-based billing. Two Sides U.S. has allied with NPTA (National Paper Trade Association). Said Kevin Gammonley, CEO of the NPTA Alliance in a press release:
We are very pleased that the paper merchant community has taken a pro‐active stance to support Two Sides. In our first phase of fundraising, we have received commitments from over 30 paper distributors who have decided to become early adopters of Two Sides in the U.S. The initiative can now establish a U.S. office and governance structure while defining its priorities to promote the sustainability of paper and print in the U.S. market.
We welcome Two Sides to this side of the Atlantic.
