Last October,
we spotlighted Enviro Image Solutions (EIS), Vancouver BC, a company that turns
used blankets into
reusable blankets.
EIS uses a patent-pending proprietary process that refurbishes dirty blankets used for UV printing and makes it possible to use them again and again. Some have been refurbished as many as 10 or 12 times.
What happens when they can no longer be cleaned and reused?
Here's a young lady with an idea...
Isabella Commins, a 16 year-old Australian student, has come up with a way of turning press blanket into shoes.
And she won a statewide Entrepreneur of the Year award with her idea!
