There has been a lot of coverage in the press of an independent trucker strike. It appears that if a strike is taking place its not well-organized and limited to certain areas of the US. Many are also upset over the way logistic brokers unfairly handle trucking agreements.
FOLIO Magazine has an article on Publishers Monitor Trucking Shutdown which provides some insight into what the big publication printers are doing to monitor the situation.
