The Print Council held a seminar style conference today to officially launch Print in the Mix, the Print Council's latest effort to promote the value and effectiveness of printed communication. The research clearinghouse designed to advocate and educate marketers and media specifiers on the value of print as a viable and effective ROI in the marketing strategy media mix.
The Print Council also hosted Cat Moriarty, Program Manager, Corporate Advertising for the United States Postal Service. Moriarty spoke about the effectiveness of using direct mail marketing and the services the USPS makes available to assist direct mail marketers in designing and distributing direct mail campaigns. She also spoke about Deliver Magazine, a bimonthly magazine title published by the USPS to showcase direct mail applications and strategies.
The Deliver Magazine Web site offers a number of resources including white papers, tips, how-tos. Deliver has also launched a blog on the site that will be maintained by Moriarty and others at the USPS.
