Yesterday marked the beginning of Graph Expo 2007. I was amazed at the number of people packing the booths as I took my initial walk through. According to show management, registration is up 8% from last year. GASC will release the official attendance numbers shortly after the show ends.
The show's daily newspaper which is being produced using Microsoft's new XPS document format is bursting full of ads/content. I have heard many say this is the thickest they have seen the new magazine in recent years.
I'm always amazed at the transformation McCormick Place undergoes during Graph Expo. The show floor is jammed packed with tools and services from hundreds of companies that enable a plethora of graphic communication applications to be created, produced and distributed.
