Discussion

I must be getting really old.
I have looked at the new PrintPlanet version and I don't get a good feeling. It looks like it is too open and too available and suited to shorter quick comments instead of the more closed atmosphere that allowed longer discussions of topics. The old format made it special and now it looks common.
I am probably wrong and it will fill new need quite well.
What I am wondering is what happens to all that great archived material? There were a lot of topics discussed over the years that one might want to go back and look at. Is it all gone and therefore a waste. I hope not. I hope something can be preserved.

WhatTheyThink is working on taking all the old content and creating a static archive.
