IPG is a 50-year-old, family-owned book distribution business, the first to bring an alliance of small publishers together to act like one big publisher. IPG also operates two publishing companies: Chicago Review Press, which publishes adult nonfiction, and Triumph Books, which publishes sports titles. Gary’s love of and passion for print have taken him on a journey, from teaching 3,400 students about the graphic arts at Cincinnati State to founding the Cincinnati Type & Print Museum in Price Hill. The museum facility is powered by BLOC Ministries, whose goal is to provide jobs to the people of Price Hill and give them a safe space to learn life skills, allowing them to provide for themselves and help break the cycle of addiction in the community. Frank talks about the integration of print and augmented reality (AR) using your phone. A free app called Zappar lets museum visitors perform audio and video self tours of the exhibits by scanning printed codes. And a printed book reproduces those codes and gives visitors a virtual and portable museum. Watch Video

JPS Graphics is a third-generation printer that specializes in book printing and kitting for learning organizations.
