Frank has three pieces of good news. 1. From exhibitor feedback, it was a great PRINTING United exhibition in Atlanta. 2. Deborah Corn’s Printing Across America day was a great success. 3. Joanne Gore’s book “Thriving in Chaos” should be required reading for all printing companies.

Frank Romano is correct in his observations.
While I was not at this year’s PRINTING United Alliance exposition due to a leg ailment inhibiting my mobility, I followed every aspect of the event remotely to the extent possible. In fact, the coverage leading up to and during the event was so tremendous, that I felt I that I was there and didn’t miss a thing regarding the exhibits. Certainly, I missed the camaraderie of being there in person. I also heard from a lot of people that attended. All agreed that the event exceeded all expectations in OEM exhibits, programs, and attendance. I extend kudos to the exposition management. If the printing industry has a marketing problem, as Frank observed, the Alliance leadership certainly does not. Perhaps a marketing tutorial for the printing industry at large would be a valued Alliance service.
On Frank’s observations about Deborah Corn’s Print Across America and International Print Day programs, I was involved “behind the scenes” in providing support where I could, as much of these events were online…and they worked! In my opinion, they were some of the most well-produced and positive promotions of the printing industry that I’ve experienced…all in one 10-hour day. Deborah’s enthusiasm and energy for the printing industry is unsurpassed, and it showed. Deborah and her Print Media Centr are yet another source for printing industry marketing strategies.

Francesco!!! Thank you so much for your kind words and continued support of Print Across America and International Print Day. Your virtual tour of the Museum of Printing was one of our most attended sessions... and there were 27 sessions and 45 speakers over 10 epic hours of printspiration. The replays are accessible at internationalprintday.org
