LONDON, UK - 6 October 2008 - Sun Chemical has hosted the first annual Rapide Conference for the thirteen members of its Rapide Distributor Network to share knowledge and industry best practice in order to increase further its effectiveness in the market.

The conference provided the platform for members to learn about the latest product launches and new innovations which are likely to be introduced in the future. The team shared the Rapide Network's vision and discussed how commercial printers could benefit from a high level of customer support delivered locally. Presentations were also made on how consumables could complement the ink business and key areas where the Rapide Network could add value to the market.

The Rapide Distributor Network, established in October 2007, consists of carefully selected partners to deliver Sun Chemical's leading technology products to commercial offset printers, with the added benefit of a quick, local, professional service.
