The Vancouver Columbian’s Investment in New Press Pays Off

Press release from the issuing company

Burlington, Wash. – The Vancouver Columbian reports that their investment in a Goss Community SSC single-wide press supplied by imPRESSions Worldwide is doing everything they wanted it to do. It has been a year since the press was purchased and The Columbian is happy with their decision to a add a single-wide print platform to their operation.

“imPRESSions Worldwide saved our bacon with this press. Our old double-wide press could not handle some of the existing and new formats that we needed. The versatility gained has allowed us to bring more commercial printing in house. With this Four Tower Goss Community Press we are running 7-days a week. Our primary printing projects are The Olympian and The News Tribune, which we took over printing this time last year,” remarked Rick Pettit, Press Manager at The Columbian.

President of imPRESSions Worldwide, Tom Loesch remarked, “We often say that we have the best customers…fact is we really do and these guys are a great example of that. The Columbian is a fabulous newspaper that is family owned for generations. They have experience and youth. They have double-wide and single-wide. They are driven to put ink on paper and have high expectations of themselves. It is awesome to hear about their success a year after the installation!”
