Harnessing the Smart Template potential for the future of print and packaging
Aalst (Belgium) – CHILI publish has engaged graphical software expert John Arnsdorf as its Product Marketing Manager. John brings in a raft of experience with software automation, implementation, and optimization at printing houses, advertising agencies, and DAM vendors. His first-hand experience with the rollout of personalization software at companies of different sizes throughout the world will bolster CHILI publisher’s position as the fully fledged, go-to software for smart artwork and marketing material creation for (packaging) printers, brands and agencies worldwide.
The right man for the job
“Smart templates have drastically reduced repetitive manual labor in the production of graphics. That’s why CHILI publisher experiences a steep growth path with implementations worldwide at brands big and small. This has challenged and optimized our solution’s DNA, its narrative towards our community and its application range.” Kevin Goeminne, CEO at CHILI publish clarifies. “We need someone to help us maximize the opportunities that come with such growth and expansion. We could not have found a better fit than John. He knows print, he knows brands, he speaks tech and breathes business optimization.”
John Arnsdorf started his career in a family-owned print business, learning the trade from the work floor up. He quickly spotted the advantages of business transformation through optimization when working at an advertising agency and subsequently decided to pursue his true passion: technology that enabled graphical automation and supported the delivery of personalization at scale. When the opportunity presented itself, he switched industries and moved from working at a marketing service provider to working in global product marketing for a technology provider (XMPie). After a brief foray in DAM to acquaint himself with the full marketing tech stack, he also acted as an independent consultant/contractor, working with clients such as Philips on software acquisition and implementation.
The Smart Template expansion
In his new position as Product Marketing Manager, John plans to define a go-to-market strategy to help customers and prospects solve the challenges they face, improve their efficiency and effectiveness, and innovate and excel in a competitive market.
“Smart Templates simplify and automate the process of designing and producing graphics, which should be the very basis of marketing profitability,” comments John in anticipation of his new role. “Optimization should be top-of-mind for marketing departments everywhere when it comes to print, packaging or omnichannel campaigns. I look forward to showing them how Smart Templates can make that happen by one simple software implementation. The vast CHILI community of partners, customers and team members is a close-knit group that’s head bent on delivering the best applications for the best marketing activities. The technology is maturing by the update and I’m excited to further contribute to making this happen.”
John will operate locally from the US office in Chicago, and the Belgium office in Aalst and internationally by traveling and visiting trade shows and customer installations. He adds: “I’m learning the ropes in the different offices and on-the-go at customer bases. I’m particularly excited about drupa 2020, where I hope to meet old and new friends at stand F42 in Hall 7a.”
