Rollem International’s Insignia Die Cutting Division is pleased to announce some of the recent installations of the Insignia Sheet-fed Flexo-Magnetic die cutters. The line is currently offered in four sizes to meet printers specific press needs. Following are some of the new installations across the U.S. including three of the four size die-cutters.

PopSockets of Boulder, CO is a consumer-electronics accessory company that produces removable grips for smartphones. They received an installation of the Insignia6 20x20” capacity die cutter. PopSockets uses the IS6 dual mag machine for PopSocket instructional cards that go around the accessory for phones. The 20x20” sheet size enables maximum utilization of sheet imposition with the ability to feed sheets either portrait or landscape into the die cutter.

Current Media Group in Colorado Springs, CO added an Insignia7 die cutter to their finishing department. Current is a multi-brand direct marketing company with more than 2,000 products, providing home office and gift giving needs. With the addition of a HP Indigo 12000 press, the Insignia 7 was the ideal solution with its 30x24” sheet capacity to maximize sheet impositions on the Indigo. Production speeds are increased with the Insignia’s die-cutting, creasing and waste removal of multipleup card products in one process.

Seeking a solution to improve the accuracy and cutting speed on a particular pressure sensitive application, Lithtex immediately saw the value of the Insignia 5 Single Magnetic Die Cutter. This model is designed with a single magnetic upper cylinder cutting against a lower anvil cylinder and requires only a single die on the upper cylinder (compared to a dual magnetic design requiring a paired set of male/female dies). The single magnetic Insignia is ideal for Lithtex’s kiss-cutting and slitting PSA jobs.
