Press release from the issuing company
Tokyo – Toppan Printing (Toppan), a global leader in communication, security, packaging, décor materials, and electronics solutions, will be presenting the latest in secure document solutions at Intergraf’s SecurityPrinters Banknotes+Identity (https://www.securityprinters.org/) at the Bella Center Copenhagen from October 23 to 25.
The event is one of the world’s largest conferences and exhibitions for cutting-edge technologies and solutions for banknotes, ID cards, passports, and other high-security documents. It is open exclusively to security printers, suppliers to security printers, banknote issuing authorities, government authorities, law enforcement, and postal authorities.
Toppan will showcase a range of advanced security features and solutions in its booth, with focal points including the Crystagram PC™ hologram, the recently launched IN-signia™ graphic antenna, and examples of banknotes in use that employ holograms, security inks, and other security features provided by Toppan.
Crystagram PC™ is a transparent hologram embedded into polycarbonate substrates used for cards and passport data pages. It bolsters information security for passports and other government ID documents by being extremely difficult to imitate and also offers greater durability, consistent brightness after lamination, and excellent design.
IN-signia™ is a new technology that enables the inlay of polycarbonate data pages of passports to feature attractive design made visible through a window. This enhances both anti-counterfeit security and visual recognition.
“Banknotes+Identity is one of the most important events for our sector and brings together the major stakeholders involved in maintaining the security and integrity of secure documents and processes,” said Yoshiyuki Mizuguchi, General Manager of Global Business Development for Toppan’s Security Products business. “Toppan is looking forward to demonstrating how its advanced solutions can play a major role in enhancing security and preventing counterfeiting for passports, IDs, banknotes, and more.”
Toppan will be presenting its solutions in booth 106. For more information, visit https://www.toppan.com/event/securityprinters2019.html.
