Press release from the issuing company

• First CBD company to join internationally recognized dietary supplement organization
• Membership burnishes company’s leadership in quality assurance
• Announcement made at Supply Side West conference in Las Vegas

Broomfield, Colo. – Mile High Labs, the world’s largest processor of hemp-derived CBD, today announced their induction into the United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA).

“We’re thrilled to be the first CBD company to join UNPA,” said Fenella Keig, compliance officer, Mile High Labs. “The Alliance is unparalleled in its expertise and commitment to the supplement industry. We look forward to working with UNPA leadership and other member organizations to create awareness of CBD and other hemp-derived products.”

The FDA currently does not have regulations in place for the production and packaging of dietary supplements or food containing CBD. As a result, the quality, consistency and purity of CBD products can vary significantly. UNPA recognized the company’s dedication to compliance, quality and transparency in making its decision.

“We’re honored that Mile High Labs joins UNPA as our first hemp extracts/cannabinoid executive member,” said Loren Israelsen, UNPA president. “The company has demonstrated a clear commitment to quality, science and research together with a world-class facility and a committed and competent management team. We look forward to their expertise and perspectives as we work together to promote the responsible sale and use of hemp-based products.”

The announcement was made during UNPA’s annual meeting at Supply Side West, the dietary supplement industry’s premier trade show. The event “brings together more than 17,000 ingredient buyers and suppliers from the dietary supplement, beverage, functional food, personal care and sports nutrition industries.”

In September, Mile High Labs announced the successful completion of audits for ISO 9001:2015, 21 CFR part 111 and 21 CFR part 117 certifications. These audits further demonstrate the company’s dedication to the highest quality standards for manufacturing.

In June, Mile High Labs purchased a 400,000-square-foot former pharmaceutical plant in Broomfield, Colorado. The fully operational facility allows the company to begin production of finished products such as tinctures, capsules, tablets, topicals, and gummies for private label customers. It also provides an environment for research and collaboration within the CBD industry.
