Press release from the issuing company
The Insignia Series of die cutters offers printers easy entry in to the high value packaging and label markets. Rollem is excited to bring the Insignia6 model to Printing United providing visitors with up close and personal die cutting demonstrations including set-ups, changeovers, paper stocks, and the use of flexo-magnetic dies. Mobile remote demonstrations will be available for people unable to attend the event.
The IS6 (20x20”) converts a wide variety of products with multiple functions built into one system include die-cutting, kiss-cutting, creasing, cut-scoring, embossing and optional in-line folding and gluing. Insignia leads its class in speed (up to 5,000 sph) versatility and the ability to cut up to 30 pt. thickness. Four model sizes are offered to complement various press sizes including a 15x20” digital sheet size, 24x30” B2 sheet size, and the new Insignia X 3 which offers a 24x24” sheet size. Be sure to see the Insignia live in Dallas and speak with the Insignia product manager for in-depth discussions on the benefits of flexo-magnetic die cutting. Rollem’s booth includes other finishing solutions as well and we’re providing real time mobile video demonstrations if you can’t make it to the show.
Semi-Slitting/Kiss-Cutting
Rollem has the solution for screen printers seeking a cutting solution for their PSA materials. Rollem’s Semi-Slitter demonstration will confirm why Rollem is the #1 choice for kiss-cutting (back slitting) PSA liner stocks. No matter what type, size or thickness of paper you have to slit or semi-slit, the SS does it accurately and consistently with easy operation and no costly overruns. Rollem’s SS model is offered in five different widths starting at 18” up to 42”models. The double head version adds a second shaft to accommodate slitting as well as semi-slitting. Automated Paper Drilling
Is it time to upgrade your paper drill? Be sure to see this innovative drill at Printing United. The PB-16 is a heavy duty modular drilling machine with up to 13 drilling heads and many more standard features than most paper drill systems. The computerized programmable sliding table handles longer runs, complex stroke patterns with drilling depths up to 2” thicknesses. Digital and offset print facilities will quickly realize the benefits of this drills automation.
