Press release from the issuing company
Enfocus, the leader in PDF quality control, advanced PDF editing and workflow automation for the graphic arts industry will exhibit at both PRINT19 and Printing United in October.
The Enfocus team will be on hand to demonstrate the company’s latest advancements in workflow automation, including job onboarding and online PDF proofing software, which have been developed and enhanced to improve quality, flexibility and reduce complexity for users in the design and editing process.
Enfocus will be at booth 327 during PRINT19, which takes place October 3-5, 2019, at McCormick Place, Chicago, and booth 11947 during Printing United, held in Dallas, October 23-25, 2019, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
Wim Fransen, Managing Director, at Enfocus said: “The team will available to answer questions and give demonstrations relating to our Pitstop and Switch software solutions at both events. Enfocus is having a banner year for new features, product advances and collaborations with industry partners and our booth will be the place to learn, explore, get advice and find the solution to build winning print services. Visitors to our stand will also be able to get their hands on the inaugural edition of the Workflow Automation Report. This unique publication features insights from industry innovators. Partners, collaborators and integrators contributed to create a magazine that print service professionals are going to want to read.”
At PRINT19, visitors can see Switch Product Manager, Toon Van Rossum take part in two Tech Talk panels; the workflow panel debate takes place on October 3 at 11.30am, while the software panel discussion can be seen on October 4 at 11am.
For delegates attending Printing United, Enfocus is offering exclusive booth tours and demonstrations, hosted by Switch Product Manager, Toon Van Rossum and PitStop Senior Product Manager, Andrew Bailes-Collins.
During the two shows, visitors can gain an insight into the latest updates to Enfocus Pitstop 2019 software, including PitStop Pro 2019, PitStop Server 2019 and PitStop 2019 SDK. New features have included Preflight for digital printers, which optimizes and reports the amount of ‘clicks’ each page will generate, automatically handling objects that ‘look’ black and ensuring that they only create one ‘click’.
Another new addition has been ‘Rasterize Selection’, which offers prepress operators the ability to select specific elements within a PDF page and rasterize only that selection. This allows users to simplify complex pages while maintaining the highest quality. Meanwhile, Object Browser removes complexity and makes object selection easy by displaying the PDF Object Stack in a list tree view, enabling the operator to simply click on the required element to select it.
The company has also implemented new features and improvements to its Switch 2019 solution including remote processing, allowing users to process jobs out of the flow remotely using a third-party service, and a redesigned messages/activity log view which incorporates the ability to filter results. In addition, enhanced Submit Point functionality enables greater flexibility and accuracy in job management.
At PRINT19 Switch users are welcome to show up a day early and attend the Switch World Tour on October 2 at the Silversmith Hotel. For more information, visit: https://www.enfocus.com/en/events/switch-world-tour-chicago.
During both shows, the Enfocus team will host a Happy Hour networking event at the end of each day – enjoy a FREE Belgian beer and chat with the team to get to know the people of Enfocus; the people who will help you to build winning print services.
