Press release from the issuing company
Yorkville, Ill. – At IFAI Expo 2019, Aurora Specialty Textiles Group (Aurora) will showcase several of the next-generation, custom-coating capabilities and products the company has engineered to meet the evolving needs of the pressure sensitive tape, industrial belt, home furnishings and printable textiles industries.
Visit Booth A-1025 at The Orange County Convention Center, South Concourse, in Orlando, Florida, USA, to learn more about Aurora’s technical finishes and the company’s Research & Development group, which specializes in helping companies develop and introduce new products to market.
The IFAI show is also an opportunity to meet Aurora’s new president, Marcia Ayala. In July of this year, Ayala was promoted from Vice President of the company to company President.
“The sectors of the textile industry we serve are evolving rapidly and I’m looking forward to the IFAI show and the opportunity to discuss Aurora’s capabilities and the many innovative methods we’ve developed to help our customers find solutions to their product needs,” said Ayala.
Aurora provides a wide variety of finishes – water repellency, antimicrobial and FR, to name a few – and is well-known for engineering industrial belting and printable textiles as well as backings for pressure sensitive tape fabrics. With manufacturing operations in Yorkville, Illinois, USA, and state-of-the-art technology, Aurora is the premiere, custom-coater and finisher for the North American textile industry supply chain.
In the printable textiles category, samples of Aurora’s Expressions canvas line will be on display. Treated with a proprietary coating developed by Aurora, Expressions has been engineered to maximize print output and throughput with today’s newest digital printing equipment. The entire line is cross-compatible with the latest generation of latex, solvent/eco-solvent and UV printers without sacrificing quality or productivity.
Attending the show on behalf of Aurora are Ayala; Mark Noles, Sales Account Manager; Jack Gaches, Purchasing & Logistics Manager; Vlad Antal, Director Process and Product Development; and Erik Nees, Sales Representative.
