W+D Will Showcase the Latest in Haptic and TED-C Direct Mail at PRINT19

Press release from the issuing company

W+D, the leading direct mail solutions provider will premier several of its new “Performance Class” technologies only at PRINT19 this year and show several new direct mail applications, including new market opportunities in direct mail using haptic marketing, that will qualify for 2% 2020 USPS promotional mailing discounts once approved. Most important, W+D will showcase the latest in technologies and upgrades uniquely designed to best process these new direct mail market opportunities.

“PRINT19 will be the premier mailing show this year for anyone serious about mailing” states Andrew Schipke, Vice President, Sales and Marketing for W+D North America. “Chicago is ground zero for the mailing and commercial print industry in the US and we are glad to again be able to show our latest cutting-edge technologies in direct mail converting, printing and inserting at a show with so many other mailing products exhibitors. I counted well over 30 companies that alone have mailing focused products which is key to a great show experience for our mailing and print customers. If you’re into mail inserting technology and especially cutting-edge direct mail inserting PRINT19 will be the only show to see running mail inserters “believes Schipke.

“The latest in haptic direct mail marketing” is the theme for PRINT19, according to Schipke. Haptics is the use of touch in marketing. Research in the neuroscience of touch as a marketing tool has shown significant improvement in direct mail lift and branding, and it has now become highly sought after in direct mail production. “Our goal is to continue to WOW printers, mailers and envelope converters with two of our very popular W+D performance class machines, using not only our latest technology, but also cutting edge haptic direct mail applications. Anyone involved in direct mail from the production to creative side will surely want to see this and pick-up sample we will be running live.”
