Press release from the issuing company
West Caldwell, N.J. – Colter & Peterson, North America’s largest independent distributor of paper cutters and paper handling equipment, plans to showcase three new products in their PRINT 19 booth 405, October 3-5 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
C&P will demonstrate a new Challenge 305 full-cut clamp control system, in addition to new 45-inch SABER® S115 and 30-inch PRISM® P80 paper cutters. The Challenge paper cutter includes a retrofit package with a 10-inch touchscreen display system and automated programs that will help print shops of all sizes, especially smaller organizations with less experienced workers.
Representing the company’s top brand lines, the SABER and PRISM machines will include the latest Microcut® electronics. A standard package on all new paper cutters for these two brand lines, Microcut earns high praise from customers for greatly increasing productivity with reduced set-up time and other tangible benefits.
Cutting edge paper cutters with significant advantages
Customers across a wide range of industries have found success with SABER and PRISM paper cutters since they are diverse and can trim many different substrates and thicknesses. The SABER line has earned a reputation for high speed and accuracy, with cuts within 1/64th of an inch. Stack lifts allow customers to often trim as much as five inches of material at one time. Automatic knife setting, improved safety features, easy maintenance and affordability are other advantages that make these machines a preferred choice.
The new 30-inch PRISM is a durable machine with a compact footprint. It offers high precision accuracy with its steel knives, superior durability and electronic clamp pressure controls. The knives resist abrasion, stress, shock and impact, lasting up to three times longer between grinding than standard steel knives.
C&P representatives will be available in the booth all three days to answer questions. For more information, visit www.papercutters.com.
