TLMI Brings Label Academy Workforce Development Tools to Members

Press release from the issuing company

Milford, Ohio – TLMI announces that association members will receive major discounts when purchasing Label Academy training program books. The books are available at discounts of up to 50% in the tlmi.com Engage member portal within the workforce development section of the website.

The Label Academy concept was pioneered by industry veteran Mike Fairley, founder of Labels & Labeling magazine. The initiative was set in place as a response to the reduction of dedicated academic print programs at colleges and high schools throughout North America and Europe. The goal of the Academy is to offer a standardized training process for label printers across the globe in addition to specific modules that focus and address individual applications and technologies.

Jess Johnson, TLMI’s Program Director, comments, “We’re excited to be offering these valuable Label Academy books to TLMI members at such deep discounts. The books feature everything from inks, automation and dispensing to digital printing and entering the flexible packaging space as a narrow web converter. TLMI members can purchase any of the 17 available books by logging on to the Engage member portal. This workforce development initiative is one of the ways TLMI is offering our members the tools and resources they need to train and further develop the skill sets of their employees.”
