ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA (March 29, 2002) - The Print Sales & Marketing Executives section of the Printing Industries of America, Inc. will be holding their annual conference, June 23-26, 2002 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, FL. The theme is entitled "Bring the Magic to Your Marketing." Program highlights include the following: Marketing’s Influence on Print Paul Reilly, Chairman and CEO of Mail-Well, Inc. will share his thoughts on marketing efforts of printers located in different regions of the country from a national perspective, the national trends that should be driving marketing efforts as printers and he will host a question and answer session. The Good, The Bad, The Ugly – A Study of Printer’s Websites Pat Whelan, Vice-President, Operations, White & Associates, will review printers’ websites that are currently on the net and point out the positive as well as the negatives and why "bigger is not necessarily better" in web design. All attendees will receive a free evaluation of their website if they register by May 15th. Print’s Transition to a Mature Industry and Implications for Marketing Strategies Dr. Ron Davis, Chief Economist for PIA, will focus on the three elements of the transition and how marketing strategies will be affected by the transition.
