Pitney Bowes Management Services Receives Kodak's Supplier Award STAMFORD, Conn., September 16, - Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI), the leading provider of integrated mail and document management solutions for companies of all sizes, recently announced it has been awarded the Certified Supplier Award from the Eastman Kodak Company. This proprietary Kodak quality program recognizes the efforts of Pitney Bowes Management Services for its accomplishments in its Rochester, NY operations. Performance was measured against; quality, delivery, cycle-time, productivity, product and technology leadership, and service and support leadership. "Since 1997, our partnership with the same dedicated team has resulted in lower costs and increased efficiency in our document processes," stated Ricardo A. Gonzalez, Director of Supplier Quality, Logistics, and Vice President of Worldwide purchasing for Kodak. "In fact, Kodak recognized Pitney Bowes in 2000 and 2001 at the annual Breakthrough conference, for delivering double digit productivity to Kodak two years consecutively. Kodak is proud to recognize Pitney Bowes for these latest accomplishments." To be considered a Kodak Certified Supplier, companies must demonstrate superior quality in its products and services and have a solid infrastructure which enables consistent on-time delivery. Suppliers must also prove their ability to respond to Kodak requirements while showing high levels of productivity through rigorous reporting procedures. In pursuing the Kodak Supplier Quality Certification, Pitney Bowes Management Services demonstrated the thoroughness of its operating procedures and work instructions. Other strengths capitalized on include, quality training, employee and customer communications and the effective use of continuous improvement processes, corrective and preventive actions.
