Press release from the issuing company
Trevose, Pa. – West Essex Graphics, a full-service design, prepress, and platemaking company with facilities in Fairfield, NJ and Columbus, IN, has fully adopted HYBRID Software’s PACKZ Native PDF editor for file preparation and layout work. Previously, West Essex Graphics was utilizing HYBRID Software’s capabilities for production ticketing, planning and plate utilizing and tracking functionality. West Essex Graphics has decided to adopt PACKZ to further streamline their graphics production.
According to Tom Guth, President of West Essex Graphics, production efficiency, quality control, software innovation and native PDF processing were the main reasons that West Essex Graphics turned to PACKZ. “Our customers expect fast turnaround and error-free production in a PDF workflow, but editing PDF files was a challenge with our former software provider. With Hybrid’s PACKZ, the files remain in their native PDF format, never converted, which helps guarantee the integrity of our customers’ files. Our production staff refers to PACKZ as the ‘Swiss Army Knife’ for efficiently turning any design into a high quality, print ready file. HYBRID Software has come a long way since we first were introduced to PACKZ and we made the commitment to bring their software innovations to our customers.”
Says Guido Van der Schueren, Chairman of HYBRID Software, “West Essex Graphics was one of the first packaging tradeshops to provide feedback on PACKZ when it was first released in 2013, so it is very satisfying to see their adoption of PACKZ across their workflows. We appreciate the close partnership with West Essex Graphics and look forward to moving into the future together.”
