More Options, Better Service: Corporate Document Solutions Acquires Alliance Printing & Publishing to Offer Customers 360-Degree B2B Printing Solutions

Press release from the issuing company

Cincinnati, Ohio – Corporate Document Solutions, Inc. (https://www.cdsprint.com), a Cincinnati, Ohio based provider of printing and document solutions, is pleased to announce that they’ve expanded their business and service model regionally with the recent acquisition of Alliance Printing & Publishing of Middletown, OH.

“When I first learned that Alliance Printing & Publishing was for sale, I felt strongly that they were an excellent fit,” commented CDS President, Mary Percy. “Alliance is a well-established company with loyal, long-term employees and clients. I knew that bringing the two together would provide valuable synergy to our new and existing customer base.”

While Percy did not disclose the purchase price, she has said that the acquisition would represent a near 30% sales increase for CDS.

“Organic growth as well as growth through acquisition are both important to us,” Percy said. “CDS is achieving both with this acquisition—allowing us to reach more customers while delivering high quality end products at lower costs, and, ultimately, giving us the ability to take on new customers that we did not have the capacity to previously service before.”

“Most of Alliance’s employees will stay on through the acquisition,” Percy noted, as part of her commitment to transitioning both companies into a new stride.

The combined reach and service offerings of both companies will enable CDS to better leverage its specialty services, while enhancing the company’s appeal to larger corporate clients and entities in a capacity it was unable to deliver before—since both companies complement one another’s services offerings—enabling a wider variety of cross products and services for clients to choose from.

“We’re excited to expand our reach, scope and depth with this new acquisition,” Percy said. “Adding Alliance to our company’s portfolio will enable us to better reach our Q3 and Q4 goals for 2019. CDS' heavy emphasis in digital laser and digital offset printing, as well as fulfillment and client storefronts, will benefit Alliance’s customers; and Alliance offers larger traditional offset and in-house mailing that will benefit CDS’ customer base. It’s a win-win!”

Corporate Document Solutions acquired R.E. Digital Printing, Inc. in February of 2011. In addition to their recent purchase of Alliance, they continue to be interested in future acquisitions in the print and related-services industries.
