Inkcups Highlights "Explosion of Possibilities" with Array of Leading Digital and Pad Printers at FESPA Global Print Expo

Press release from the issuing company

Danvers, Mass. – Global printing industry leader Inkcups will demonstrate the high-performance output of three digital printers, two pad printers and laser plate-maker at FESPA Global Print Expo, held on May 14-17 at the Messe München Exhibition Center in Munich, Germany. Inkcups will be located in hall A5 at stand H70.

The Inkcups stand will feature the company’s Helix®, X5 and XJET digital printers. The Helix® is a cylindrical inkjet printer engineered to print stunning CMYKWW+V full color on straight-walled and tapered cylinders, such as sports bottles, mixing glasses, barware, candles, stainless steel tumblers and more. Inkcups’ best seller, the Helix® is unmatched in the industry for price/performance in its category.

The X5 is a UV flatbed digital machine with five print heads for on-demand, full-color prints on flat and hard goods up to six inches tall. The X5 can decorate a bed size of 1100 by 610 millimeters (43 by 24 inches) in two minutes. The XJET is the world’s first industrial UV LED inkjet printer designed for both short-run and long-run industrial printing. As a category leader in digital flatbed printing, the XJET produces a 500 by 620-millimeter (20 by 24-inch) area print in 90 seconds and handles parts up to 146 millimeters (5.75 inches) tall. This high-speed and low-cost innovation combines premier XY flatbed scanning systems with high-production capabilities.

The Inkcups booth will also showcase the company’s 2200-PS and B100 pad printers. The 2200-PS is a self-standing, 2-color sealed-cup printer. The 2200-PS printer’s pad shuttle feature increases the number of pad impressions by almost double the amount of time as a typical pad printer of its type. The B100 is a high-speed, single-color tabletop pad printer suitable for printing on a wide variety of tagless garments including t-shirts, medical scrubs, uniforms and athletic wear. The B100 also prints on promotional items, including silicone wristbands, napkins and candy tins.

Each displayed machine will be live printing during the show on a variety of products, including plastic-molded promotional items and giveaways. In addition, there will be a live plate-etching demonstration by the Cobalt 2000, an industry leader in affordability and efficiency.
