Press release from the issuing company

Duggal Visual Solutions, a leading New York City print service provider, has upgraded digital print capabilities on its HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press with a new HD Imaging System, the new benchmark in high-quality for the commercial printing market.

“Pioneering with new technology is a Duggal hallmark. Clients from leading fashion, hospitality and retail houses are already impressed by the enhanced HP Indigo HD print quality,” said Mike Duggal, CEO, Duggal Visual Solutions. “This new technology will enable us to bring fine-art quality printing to high-volume commercial production including for point-of-sale graphics, brochures, books, and catalogs.”

The HP Indigo HD Imaging System doubles print resolution, supports high screen sets up to 290 LPI, and powers FM screening for smoother, sharper, highly detailed print that far surpasses other commercial digital presses and even offset for quality.

Duggal is the first HD upgrade to the 29-inch HP Indigo 12000 Digital Press in the Northeast. The HP Indigo 12000 HD press is located at Duggal’s new Brooklyn Navy Yard headquarters, in an addition to an HP Indigo 5600. Duggal’s HP Indigo technology in New York City enables just-in-time production capabilities and an unprecedented application range for leading creative agencies, designers and brands.

“Duggal has long been known for exceptional quality and bringing new innovations to the market. We are looking forward to seeing their expansion into new markets and elevating the image quality produced with digital printing to another breakthrough level, thanks to this innovative new High-Definition Imaging System for the HP Indigo 12000 press,” said Haim Levit, Vice President and General Manager, HP Indigo & Inkjet Press Solutions.

In addition to premium quality commercial print, Duggal uses the HP Indigo 12000 HD extensive capabilities for 29 inch production of synthetics, canvas, window clings, metallic and colored substrates, as well as non-certified substrates with HP Indigo ElectroInk Primer. Its upgraded Indigo 5600 press also supports ultra think substrate printing up to 22 pt for applications including plastic cards, labels, clothing tags and folding cartons.
