New cooperation for the supply of advanced carbon fibre rollers

Almelo/Hapert – Pronexos and Apex combine their know-how and capacities in the field of advanced carbon fibre rollers. A cooperation contract was signed at the Apex headquarters in Hapert, The Netherlands. By teaming up both companies will put themselves in an even stronger position to jointly support their customers in the printing and packaging industries.

Apex International is the international leader in Anilox and metering rolls and a top expert in the production of ceramic coated and laser engraved rolls for any purpose. Bringing these areas of expertise together forms a perfect fit.”

The new partnership can be seen as another example of the increasing trend towards the use of carbon fibre in the packaging and printing industries. Modern carbon rollers provide significant benefits over traditional steel rollers, such as improved productivity by increased speeds, energy saving thanks to reduced weight and easier handling for safe replacement.
