Printing Industries Association of San Diego (PIASD) Announces the Launch of the Mailers Council, a Special Industry Group for mailers in San Diego and Imperial Counties
San Diego, Calif. – The Printing Industries Association of San Diego (PIASD), the local association serving the graphic arts and printing industries in San Diego and Imperial County, announced the launch of the Mailers Council designed to offer training programs using industry experts and present ongoing education and updates in the fast moving world of postal changes and regulations. From white papers to webinars, the PIASD Mailers Council will function as a special industry group and will bring the latest information in an easy and concise way to be in compliance and help customers save money.
Mailers Hub will be partnering with PIASD to help provide education and tools. “We believe working with PIASD will help bring the value of our two organizations to the local level and ultimately will build a knowledgeable and efficient resource to customers as the postal regulations become more complex,” stated Leo Raymond, Managing Director of Mailers Hub.
“I’ve been deeply involved with both organizations for many years,” says Summer Gould, president of Eye/Comm. “I’m pleased to help build the partnership and ultimately help the print and graphics industry increase their value to customers.”
“We are thrilled to work with Mailer Hub, and have Summer Gould help lead us in this new value-add program,” states David Gonzalez, Chairman of PIASD. “Their perspective and enthusiasm will help us provide the most innovative and responsive program for members.” PIASD has aggregated resources including Mailing Software surveys, white paper & primers, analysis of damage to direct mail in the postal stream and digital color and imaging and protective coatings in the U.S. Postal System. The Mailers Council is part of the PIASD regular membership and no additional fees are needed to join.
