Industry experts will highlight key components of the upcoming conference.

Fairfax, Va. – In a special webinar next week, three experts in the digital textile printing arena will offer a sneak-peek at the 2018 Digital Textile Printing Conference 3.0, presented by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC).

The webinar takes place Thursday, November 15, from 2:00–3:00 pm (EST), and features Ken Bach, Business Development Director, Aberdeen Fabrics Inc; Michael Sanders, Director of Printable Textiles and Finishing Technology, Top Value Fabrics; and Johnny Shell, Vice President of Print Technology and Training, SGIA.

SGIA and AATCC first partnered on the Digital Textile Printing Conference in 2016. Now in its third year, the conference offers attendees a deeper look at drivers changing the digitally printed textile market through a series of education sessions and networking opportunities.

“The digital textile industry is fast-moving, and this conference is home to the innovations that are influencing the way we operate,” said Shell. “All of the conference sessions will address key factors, technology advancements and workflow automation. We want to give attendees a full preview of the sessions and events included in the conference so they know the value of attending.”

The webinar will examine this year’s agenda and highlight key sessions. Topics include industry trends, new digital textile ink and printing technology, key market drivers, global market conditions, color management, workflow developments, design software, digital manufacturing and integration, and micro factories.

“The partnership between SGIA and AATCC has played a huge role in informing the digitally printed textile industry. Our goal is to deliver a comprehensive, informative look at this industry segment as it evolves,” said Shell.

The 2018 Digital Textile Printing Conference 3.0 takes place December 5–6 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham, North Carolina. SGIA and AATCC members who register before November 20 will pay $525 ($785 for nonmembers), after which prices will increase to $575 ($835 for nonmembers). You can register for the webinar at SGIA.org.
