Press release from the issuing company
GEW has reported that a record number of its UV Curing Systems were in operation at Labelexpo Americas 2018, with GEW lampheads running on the majority of the leading manufacturers’ presses at the show. These were installed on a wide range of OEM presses and used for working demonstrations, showing that customers have a preference for the technical achievement and reliability of GEW UV systems.
The Labelexpo series provides a calendar of key exhibition dates for the label printing industry and this most recent event gave GEW an opportunity to present its LED and conventional UV curing solutions, targeted at label printing businesses of all types and sizes. The show also enabled the company to more fully introduce its ground-breaking new multi-point UV monitor to the market.
Marcus Greenbrook, Director of International Sales at GEW, comments: “The number of GEW lampheads in operation was over 25% up on the previous Labelexpo Americas and it was a delight to see our equipment in use on so many stands. It provides a strong testament to the quality and dependability of our UV curing systems.”
Greenbrook concludes: “Every GEW UV system installed today is ready for LED operation and Labelexpo attendees were particularly keen to find out about our ArcLED hybrid UV system, which offers printers the most cost-effective upgrade path to LED UV on their flexo presses. It is this combination of strong customer focus and GEW’s uncompromising quality standards that sees our lampheads used as the de facto solution by so many of the world’s leading press manufacturers.”
