X-Rite Bags First-Place Award at International Coatings Expo 2000

GRANDVILLE, Mich., X-Rite, Incorporated, a leading global provider of technology solutions that measure color and light, earned a first-place award for its trade show booth displayed at Chicago's McCormick Place convention center, during the International Coatings Expo (ICE), October 18-20, 2000.
X-Rite's open-sided, multi-colored exhibit space featured three customer computer stations to demonstrate Formulation-Master 2001 - a new software X-Rite has developed for paint and plastic color formulation and quality assurance.
"We're honored to win the first-place award from the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology (FSCT) in recognition of outstanding design for X-Rite's ICE Show 2000 exhibit space," said Philip Goforth, product manager for X-Rite's Coatings, Plastics and Textiles business unit.
"Our goal was make our space as open and inviting as possible for our customers," said Goforth. "The strategic use of exciting, bold colors also highlighted our expertise in color communications, and the launch of Formulation-Master 2001, our new color formulation software."
The FSCT-sponsored booth competition at ICE 2000 included a total of 378 exhibitors occupying a record-setting 103,200 net square feet of exhibit space.
