Press release from the issuing company
Sussex, Wis. – The Mosaica Group, a Midwest-based distributor supporting wide format, sublimation, digital, offset and other print processes, is exhibiting at the SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, NV. Show dates are October 18 - 20. The Mosaica Group will partner with Kaspar Papir at booth #3169 to provide demonstrations of their premium dye transfer papers with the Panthera S4 digital dye sublimation printer as it makes its U.S. debut.
The Panthera S4 is available in both 1.8m and 3.2m widths. Each S4 model has four Kyocera print heads with speeds up to 4,000 square feet per hour. Panthera printers feature a specially-developed print head controller that offers better precision and printing quality, along with an anti-crash system on the carriage to protect the print heads from incorrectly hitting the transfer paper. It offers a flawless roll-to-roll feeding system that helps to eliminate paper waste. The Panthera is able to use low-weight paper (up to 22gm) due to the built-in tension control. The Panthera digital sublimation printer guarantees sustainability in regards to color consistency, print quality and advanced productivity at the lowest cost of ownership.
Kaspar Papir high-performance dye sublimation transfer papers are capable of taking a very high ink load without compromising a fast drying time. Utilizing a unique new coating formulation, Kaspar Papir releases on average 20 percent more ink than other transfer papers being used in the market today, resulting in significant ink savings without sacrificing color performance, vibrancy or density. Case studies consistently demonstrate improved productivity of over 30 percent due to an increase in transfer speed through the heat press.
The Mosaica Group will also showcase SupremeJETTM premium dye sublimation inks. These high-quality yet cost effective inks offer extremely low consumption with a quick transfer rate. A high-color reduction rate enables the most vivid graphics with intense black and pristine detail. SupremeJETTM inks are the ultimate complement to the Panthera for obtaining optimal speed and quality as each ink formula is specially designed for Kyocera print heads.
