New Extended Print Control Technology Enhances Functionality of SCREEN EQUIOS Class Printers
San Diego, Calif. – Solimar Systems, Inc., an innovative global solutions provider empowering critical communications through multi-channel document communications solutions for print, web and mobile delivery announced a new partnership agreement with SCREEN Americas, a pioneer and world-class technology leader in the digital print industry.
This partnership enables software integration from Solimar’s Chemistry platform and SCREEN’s EQUIOS inkjet digital front-end processor. The latest integration enhancements include support for Job Definition Format (JDF) and Job Messaging Format (JMF) to provide real-time print job status updates, printer feedback and reporting for EQUIOS devices. The new integrated technology from Solimar and SCREEN is ideal for organizations that print high volumes of transactional, variable data and customer facing documents that require tracking, metrics and status updates for their print jobs.
