Pittsburgh, Pa. – Twelve technologies have been selected to receive a 2018 InterTech™ Technology Award. The technologies receiving the award have been judged as truly innovative and are expected to advance the performance of the graphic communications industry.

An independent panel of judges deliberated over an outstanding selection of technology nominations that highlight the dynamic nature of the industry. This year’s awards recognized inventions that embellish the printed image, extend inkjet printing into new markets, measure color in a better way, create laminated film for packaging applications, optimize print quality on corrugated substrates, facilitate the ordering of packages on eCommerce sites, manage omnichannel marketing campaigns, and control presses via mobile devices.

The awards will be presented to companies before an audience of industry leaders during the 2018 Premier Print Awards and InterTech Technology Awards Reception & Ceremony, Sunday, September 30 at the J.W. Marriott in Chicago, Illinois.
