The Cannata Report, the intelligence resource for business technology and imaging solutions resellers, will bestow a Lifetime Achievement Award to business technology industry icon Tom Johnson at its 33rd Annual Awards & Charities Dinner that will raise funds for Tackle Kids Cancer, a philanthropic program benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center.
Johnson, founder of Global Imaging Systems, Inc. of Tampa, Florida, which was acquired by Xerox Corporation in 2007, is renowned in the office technology industry for creating a benchmark model for improving operations and evaluating potential acquisitions in the independent dealer channel.
“He changed our industry for the better by elevating how dealers measured their performance. Johnson joins a select group of executives who have been honored by The Cannata Report with a Lifetime Achievement Award at its annual fundraiser which to date has raised $2.2 million for charitable organizations nationwide. Johnson will receive his accolade in person at this year’s Cannata Dinner sponsored by Hytec Dealer Services and PSIGEN Software, Inc., being held at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ, on November 8.
