Harrison, N.Y. – At the annual Great Lakes Graphics Association’s (GLGA) Graphics Excellence Awards (GEA) banquet on May 23, 2018, a promotional calendar by Viso-Graphics of Addison, IL, won an Excellence in Special Innovation and a Best Poster award. The paper Viso-Graphics selected to use in the award-winning calendar was Case Paper’s popular Sonata™ silver.

Each year, the GLGA’s Graphics Excellence Awards competition recognizes printers, design firms, ad agencies, and even design students in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin for superb craftsmanship in design, creation, and print production. Judged by experts in the graphic communications industry, each entry is reviewed first on technical expertise and printing quality, then on design and overall graphic appeal. This year, over 700 printed pieces were entered into the competition by over 70 companies.

This is the second time in five years that an award-winning design was produced on Sonata™ Silver board.

Also, in 2018, Case Paper’s submission of the promo calendar won a Certificate of Merit from the PIA’s Premier Print Awards competition.
