Satisfied with what was available until they attended Graph Expo in Chicago. OKI was exhibiting at this event, showcasing the C942dn – and this device immediately captured Jerry’s attention. The Elite executives were impressed with the versatility of the OKI C942 and the fact that it can print with white toner on color - or even color-on-color - all in a single pass.

Today, Elite is primarily running envelopes on the OKI C942 in assorted sizes and stocks, oftentimes including variable data to finish the customers job with personalized addressing.

Elite quickly added white-toner printing to its product portfolio, adding the option to their website so customers can place online orders. Most of the “new” customers and jobs are coming from Elite’s website. Not only are the customers getting their print orders turned around very quickly, but they’re extremely happy with the affordable cost.

Jerry & Team has easily adapted to the job set-up and workflow of the C942. “This printer couldn’t be easier or more intuitive to operate – it is superfast,” states Jerry.

Elite Envelopes has also recently added solar panels to their building roof and are generating half of their electrical usage from solar power. Customers take comfort knowing that their print jobs are completed in a “green” environment, and some have even requested a special logo on their envelopes to highlight that the printing used sustainable electricity and renewable power sources.

OKI has opened new doors for Elite Envelopes, creating new customers and developing new revenue streams that weren’t available with traditional CMYK envelope printing.
