Press release from the issuing company
John Scavoni and his team at International Minute Press Meridian provide community businesses and residents with everything from printing essentials and promotional products to professional design and marketing services.
Meridian, Idaho – Located at 2020 E. Overland Rd., Ste. 110, International Minute Press in Meridian, Idaho, is open for business following a successful grand opening. John Scavoni first opened the doors to his new business in September 2017 and he has quickly made a positive impression with clients in the community. John has joined several networking groups to help establish International Minute Press as a trusted business service provider, and International Minute Press Meridian has received several 5-star Google Reviews from satisfied clients already.
What does International Minute Press do for clients? John explains, "We are a full-service printing, marketing and design company, which means we provide services and products including business cards, brochures, envelopes and promotional products such as shirts, pens, mugs, and the list goes on. We have the ability to create and produce anything with your logo on it, bring your visions to life and help you create a connection between your brand and your customers. We also proudly offer our expert graphic design services, scanning services, and advertising services. As our logo tagline indicates, 'We Design, Print & Promote…YOU!'"
As a new business owner, John is working hard and really enjoys being an active part of the community. He says, "I am involved in a few BNI-type groups as well as the Meridian Chamber of Commerce. Recently, I joined The Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Kiwanis International. I have enjoyed doing things for the community through these groups. It gives me so much joy to be able to give back and I look forward to doing even more!"
John adds, "I would have to say that being a new business owner has been a lot of work, which is to be expected. It has been a learning experience and very challenging as well. Any success or failure is a direct or indirect result of me. I did not have that much of a direct effect in my previous positions. What I really like is being the boss and treating my employees with respect and dignity they deserve, the way I always wished to be treated. The work environment is one of respect and gratitude towards each other, and that is exactly the way I like it."
Prior to buying his own printing business, John spent 15 years as a Production Payroll Specialist for Warner Bros. Television. He says, "I was laid off due to reorganization and realized that I needed a change of pace. I originally sought a career as an Insurance Agent for Farmers Insurance Co. but quickly realized that that was not a good fit for me either. So, I began searching for a franchise."
International Minute Press appealed to John because, in his words, "The fact that it was a family-based franchise that has been in business since 1973 was very appealing. I met up with my Regional Vice President Chris Jutt and he was helpful without being pushy at all. He simply explained the process of buying the business, helped me all the way through the purchase, and continues to help and support me now that I am up and running."
A typical business day for John shares insight into the life of a small business owner. John says, "My typical day starts at approximately 8:15. I get in and warm everything up, look at the Works in Progress report and go over any new email leads. I go over them with my graphic designer when he gets in at 9 a.m. and then plan out my day of deliveries and marketing activities. I also make plans for my BNI groups and/or Chamber of Commerce meetings. I enjoy going out and meeting with owners of businesses and learning about what they do and how I can be of help as well as ways I can possibly help them even more. Giving customers that kind of personalized service and helping them grow is probably the most rewarding part."
International Minute Press Meridian is off to a great start but John wants everyone to know that they are just getting started. He shares, "I would like to grow my business by approximately 50% more in the next year. I would also like to offer some dye sublimation products to my customers that we can do in-house."
He concludes, "We are open for business. We are here and ready to help meet all of your design, printing, and promotional needs!"
