Company will discuss solutions that empower package customization at each stage of package production process
San Diego, Calif. – Memjet (Memjet.com), a leading developer of inkjet printing technology, announced today that it is a sponsor of the Smithers Pira Digital Print for Packaging Conference on June 4-6, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. This event brings together top experts in the digital print and packaging industry to provide conference attendees the information they need to understand and capitalize on changes taking place in the rapidly evolving digital print for packaging sector.
“Product marketers, packaging developers and brand managers are expressing a growing interest in digital print as the package becomes part of their marketing mix,” said Don Allred, vice president of packaging business development at Memjet. “At the conference, Memjet will share valuable insight these users need to capture the opportunities digital print brings to each stage of the package production process.”
At the conference, Memjet will host a presentation on how Memjet technology is utilized in packaging solutions across multiple segments, from early customization on carton presses to late-stage package customization on demand. Dennis TeGroothuis, CEO and President of Small Quantity Boxes, will join Memjet at the presentation. TeGroothuis will discuss the new business opportunities he experienced producing short-run containers and packaging that large manufacturing centers could not fulfill. This presentation will take place June 5, 2018, at 5:15 p.m.
“There’s a lot of opportunity in customized packaging today,” continued Allred. “But capturing those opportunities requires the right solution for the right type of packaging. Memjet technology — and the wide range of solutions it is used in — expands those opportunities. With Memjet technology, no matter where you are in the package production process, there is an inkjet solution that can empower business.”
