FRA, Amsterdam, --Adobe Systems Incorporated today announced that leading system integrators Systematics, atteso and Page + Partner Media GmbH (PPI) plan to base their next generation publishing systems on AdobeÆ InScopeÅ software. Adobe InScope provides system integrators with a web-based workflow and asset management solution for meeting customers' complex workflow and cross-media publishing requirements. Systematics, atteso and PPI can tailor Adobe InScope to existing publishing workflows because of the application's open architecture. Systematics and InScope Manage Cross-Media Systematics is one of the ten largest e-business integrators in Europe and plans to integrate InScope for its publishing customers, including corporate publishers who create their own printed and electronic materials. Systematics provides complete print and web editing systems for publishing houses, online magazines, advertising systems, digital picture processing, picture and text archiving and workflow solutions for publishers. "The role of the publishing system integrator has evolved from integrating different databases to integrating processes," said Gerwin Vollmer, director, Systematics. New Company Bets on InScope The first atteso project in Germany is the development of a publishing management system for editors called VM-R, which will be based on Adobe InScope. The VM-R system will facilitate a new way of integrating processes in publishing houses and editorial departments. With their production management solutions PPI has become the market leader in Germany and Central Europe for an automated newspaper workflow. PPI has plans to develop newspaper publishing systems built on InScope for companies in the U.S. and India.
