Kendu In-Store Visual Solutions has won three different awards in recognition of their creative retail design expertise at the world’s largest annual retail trade show, GlobalShop. Held at McCormick Place, Chicago, at the end of last month, GlobalShop 2018 showcased almost 550 exhibitors from sectors such as VM, store design & operations, store fixtures, lighting, digital retail technology and At-Retail.

During the trade show, Shop! hosted the 2018 Design Awards which recognized the best new designs in retail environments and experiences in the previous year. Kendu took home top honors winning “Visual Presentation of the Year” for the Galeries Lafayette Christmas window displays featuring Flowbox, the dynamic display designed, developed and manufactured wholly by Kendu. The visually spectacular project also won the “Window Display Award”.

“The opportunity to work with Galeries Lafayette alongside their Creative Visual Identity Manger for their flagship store in Paris was a privilege. The project came about as the result of our 18 years of experience in the retail sector and Kendu’s capacity to create customized in-store visual solutions for our clients,” stated Kendu CEO & Founder, Joseba Egaña.

Kendu’s creativity was also applauded by the judging panel from VMSD, awarding Kendu “Outstanding Booth” for their ambitious three booth installation the “Kendu Experience Tour”. The installation covered more than 1000 sq. ft. and was designed, manufactured and installed entirely by the Kendu team. The booths featured the latest product innovations and service solutions offered by the Miami based company include large-format dynamic displays, interactive digital solutions as well as ultra-thin lightboxes and was a crowd favorite amongst the 540 exhibitors.
