Ontario's Whitehouse Graphics Purchases New Komori GL640C

Press release from the issuing company

Vaughan, Ontario-based Whitehouse Graphics, has purchased a new Komori GL640C. With a scheduled installation for end of April, 2018, the GL640C will be charged with producing all of Whitehouse’s printed work, replacing their previous press.

“We wanted to make sure we had the very best technology and product to fit our printing needs. We had a few options in regards to what company and product to go with but made a decision from our meetings with Komcan” says Wade Lapointe of Whitehouse Graphics.

The Whitehouse GL640C will be equipped with Fully Automatic Plate Changers, PDC-SX Closed Loop Colour Control system, and KHS-AI – Komori’s productivity improvement system, which automatically optimizes various press presets by self-learning. The advanced automation features were in large part why Whitehouse decided to go with Komori.

“When we initially met with Whitehouse, it was determined that the advanced automation features that Komori has, were going to be of paramount value to them” says Brett Rogers of Komcan Inc. “The GL640C is the perfect fit for Whitehouse, as it meets and exceeds their productivity needs, and automation desires, and will allow for further growth in their specified markets”

Whitehouse Graphics serves specific Packaging markets and is looking to expand over the course of the next several years. Their 32,000 square foot plant in Vaughan will afford them that ability, with full service packaging production including prepress, printing, diecutting, and folding/gluing all taking place in their new facility.

Wade Lapointe also went on to say “The folks at Komcan were not only extremely helpful but also knowledgeable and insightful. We came away from our meetings with Komcan feeling 100% confident we had made the right decision to move forward with the purchase of our new Komori GL640C.”
