Press release from the issuing company
China’s only dedicated event for the aerosol, dispensing, perfume & cosmetic packaging and design community - ADF&PCD Shanghai 2018, opens its doors in less than a week. The free-to-attend event, which takes place on 28 & 29 March, at the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing, will tackle the latest industry challenges, provide unrivalled access to an array of international suppliers and offer the perfect platform for attendees to network with the best and brightest in the region.
New for 2018, the show welcomes The Pentawards, the most prestigious worldwide competition exclusively devoted to packaging design. Not only will The Pentawards unveil a selection of the award-winning packaging designs from 2017, but it will also host a dedicated conference programme, featuring the likes of Shanghai Jahwa, Herborist, Shiseido and Centdegrés. The Pentawards Conference, Chaired by Editor-in-Chief of Package & Design magazine, will look at some of the hottest packaging design topics, including ‘understanding millennials’, ‘the concept of smart packaging’ and ‘creating a total brand experience’.
Continuing the theme of educating visitors, the Aerosol and Dispensing Conference will see major brands - L'Oréal China, Kao and Beiersdorf – talking about the latest market trends, challenges and opportunities that they face on a daily basis. Safety, colour management, sustainability, innovation and the future, will also be discussed in detail at the two-day conference.
In addition to an array of presentations and expert panel sessions, ADF&PCD Shanghai 2018 also provides visitors with the perfect opportunity to not only learn from the most pioneering suppliers in the region, but to also experience first-hand the very latest packaging innovations and technologies from around the globe. As an example, Hinterkopf is introducing D240.2 NEXT GENERATION, a powerful upgrade to its existing digital printing machine, whilst Dongguan MingFeng Packaging will debut its environmentally friendly biomass composite material, which is 100% degradable.
The show also provides a place for suppliers and the buying community to meet, network and do business. There is nowhere else visitors could see this number of suppliers in such a focused timeframe.
Paul Macdonald, Global Brand Director of the Easyfairs Packaging Portfolio, concludes: “With the doors for ADF&PCD Shanghai 2018 set to open in less than seven days, the excitement is really starting to build. We have so much to offer our visitors. Whether it is the conference programme focusing on the biggest challenges facing the industry, suppliers launching new products to the Chinese market or providing the opportunity for visitors to learn from the world’s leading packaging designers, we really have something for everyone. For anyone with an interest in aerosol, dispensing, perfume and cosmetic packaging, this show is not too be missed!”
