Lyndhurst, N.J. – Hop Industries, manufacturer of the durable Hop-Syn synthetic paper today announces that it will showcase Hop-Syn TO and BL synthetic paper grades at the GlobalShop Trade Show and Conference, which takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago, March 27-29, 2018. Hop-Syn is a 100% recyclable, environmentally-friendly substrate designed for UV and LED-printed retail signage such as blockout point of purchase displays, banners and window posters, as well as backlit displays, transit signs, and more. At the event, Hop (booth #934) is giving away copies of its 2018 product guide, along with free samples of Hop-Syn synthetic paper.

Hop is featuring two synthetic paper grades at GlobalShop, Hop-Syn TO and BL. Hop-Syn TO is a 98% opaque, white matte synthetic paper, and is a top choice by design agencies and print service providers (PSPs) for blockout banners, posters, and point of purchase displays. The waterproof, tear resistant substrate is UV-resistant, up to one year outdoors.

Hop-Syn BL synthetic paper is a white translucent polypropylene sheet used for backlit displays and transit posters in bus shelters and airports. Its smooth matte, 63% translucent white finish, allows PSPs to print sharp images with high color density for a stunning visual effect. Hop-Syn BL offers the print performance, color dispersion and dimensional stability of backlit polyester, but at a fraction of the cost. Hop-Syn BL and TO are easily printable by LED, latex and UV inkjet, as well as offset, flexography, screen, and thermal transfer.
