Wheeling, Ill. – Midland Paper, Packaging + Supplies, one of North America's largest independent distributors of media for business communications, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Ratcliff to the position of President, Midland Specialty Paper and Film Division.   Midland’s Specialty Paper and Film Division is focused on the sale of Digital Sheetfed Media for Indigo and Toner-based technology, Wide Format Inkjet Media, Continuous-fed High Speed Inkjet Media and Specialty Non-Paper Substrates for Offset Printing.  

Ratcliff has made a significant impact in the Specialty Paper and Film market over the last 20 years, having spent the last 5 plus years at Midland Paper, Packaging + Supplies.   Under his leadership, Midland’s Specialty Paper and Film Division has grown from just under $10.0 million in sales in 2012 to over $80.0 million in 2017.  The Division recently finished a successful 2017 campaign with a 5th consecutive year of double-digit growth.  “Mike has created a hard-working, exceptional team of professionals that has propelled Midland into a market leadership position in the specialty media market” said Mike Graves, Midland’s CEO.
