Forbes Selects WAM!NET to Help Deliver Timely Global Magazine

EAGAN, Minn.--WAM!NET Inc., a leading provider of digital content management services, announced today that it has been selected by Forbes to provide fast, secure network connectivity between the publisher's U.S. headquarters in New York and Time Printing, its Singapore-based printer, for production of Forbes Global, the international edition of Forbes magazine. Leveraging WAM!NET's Managed Network Services, content for Forbes Global is delivered to Time Printing which, in turn, is able to print and deliver the issue to newsstands throughout Asia eight days sooner than with traditional print-and-transport delivery methods. The resulting time savings allows Forbes to provide readers in both Asia and North America with timely, simultaneous editorial without incurring the higher costs associated with alternative shipping methods. WAM!NET already provides network connectivity between the U.S. and France for distribution of Forbes Global.
