"Gary Hamel is a dynamic and revolutionary speaker who will help put the current, shifting business landscape into perspective for printers and print buyers," notes Bill Trachtenberg, co-chairman of the e.now e.commerce summit and president of RIT Research Corporation. "And following the seminar, he will join the other summit speakers in providing continued interaction with attendees, as they take what they learned back to the office." As an accomplished author and lecturer, Hamel wrote Competing for the Future, which remains the best-selling book about corporate strategy. He is a distinguished research fellow at Harvard Business School, a three-time winner of the McKinsey Prize for excellence in journalism, and has been featured on CNN, CNBC, and the BBC. Gary Hamel heads a list of celebrated business and e-commerce experts speaking at the e.now e.commerce summit, including: Frank Romano, RIT professor and distinguished industry leader; Colin Phelps, a senior print buyer for General Motors North American Operations; Stuart W. Margolis, an expert on the financial needs of graphic arts managers; Jim Mikol, senior vice president and director of print at Leo Burnett Advertising; Susan L. Kelly, president and managing partner of Raine Consulting; Henry B. Freedman, a third-generation printer and the inventor of e-commerce in print; and Thad McIlroy, an electronic publishing analyst and author. The e.now e.commerce summit will be held in Los Angeles, January 28-30, 2001, and in Orlando, May 20-23. Both sessions, featuring the same curriculum, are designed to provide a clear understanding of e-business and e-commerce, illuminating the overall relationship between printers and their customers. In order to endure the educational, objective, non-commercial learning experience for conference attendees, seminar sponsors have agreed not to participate as presenters or speakers at the e-commerce summit.
